BEN LOMOND HILL RACE start time 13.00
The race will have a limited entry of 150 runners to meet the concerns of the landowners (the National Trust for Scotland) over erosion on the path. The route will be stewarded and we will endeavour to arrange safety cover by the Mountain Rescue and to provide medical first-aid facilities at the finish. Competitors must carry full wind-proof body cover and a whistle. There will be a compulsory kit check before the race.

Please note that there will be a time allowance of 45 minutes to the halfway checkpoint. (This corresponds to an estimated finishing time of 2 hours 15 minutes.) Runners failing to reach the checkpoint in this time will be required to turn back. If you are unsure of being able to meet these times, please do not enter.

Registration will be between 11:30 and 12:30 on the day. Race entry includes a food ticket for soup and a roll in the hotel after the race.

BE AWARE THAT BEN LOMOND IS A POPULAR HILL WITH HILL WALKERS AND IS LIABLE TO BE BUSY. PLEASE BE COURTEOUS TO THEM, AS THE RACE COULD BE IN JEOPARDY IF WE HAVE ANY MORE COMPLAINTS.
ALSO PARKING IS LIMITED. PLEASE SHARE CARS WHERE POSSIBLE. !!!
